Introduction

Above is a photo of Me (right) Tom (left) and Lewis (middle), the three of us will be travelling together! So you will be seeing a lot more of them as well as me.

Hello everyone, firstly, thank you for following my travel blog, it's much appreciated. I will try my best to update this on a regular basis and I hope you like it.

Today is sunday the 16th which means that we fly out in 2 days time! very exciting stuff.

Still need a few more last minute basics like mozzie spray etc. Besides that, I'm pretty much packed and ready to rock n roll (this was no way influenced by the fact i'm currently watching school of rock..) If any of you have been to any of the places that we are visiting, I would love to know any tips, advice, places to stay or things not to miss out on, let me know in the comments :)

Here is my bag all packed and ready - My tortoise shell for the next 3 months.
Wish us luck!

Joe x

  5. I love Thailand! My mom is from there and I used to go ever other year when I was little. I went back two years ago for the first time in many years. It was my husband's first time going so my mom made sure he had the full experience. It was great to see family.

I definitely recommend seeing the tigers, monkeys and snakes! You can take photos with the tigers.

  14. gosh! so many days in bangkok! you might get bored. :/

rmb to hit Cha tu chak! it's a weekend market and you can find everything and anything there! (furniture/fabrics/pets/clothes)

another place for shopping is platimum mall and the market opposite it. (: guys tee are about 150 baht per piece. more discount if you buy 3 pieces or more.

oh. and at places like suan lam night market. BARGAIN! they are out to rip you of your cash!
(esp since you're european. they will state a ridiculous price)

singapore is where i come from! (:
it'll be chinese new year during the period so some most local shops run by chinese might be closed and tourist attractions should be packed! (eg universal studios etc)

try visiting the istana? it only opens on public holidays. not much to see/do in my opinion. but just saying since you're over during the chinese new year period.

asia is really hot and humid! so rmb to hydrate! (:
